Does Solar Power Really Work?

Friday, July 24th, 2009 | Always Online | Comments Off

Introduction

There may be some confusion about the term Solar Power because there are a number of systems that have been established for many years using the sun to heat water, heat ovens to cook food or heat your home either directly or indirectly. But what we are really interested in is the idea of producing electricity from the sun. That electricity can then be used for different requirements not just for heating water or rooms. Technically Solar Power is any system which is powered by the sun to produce useable energy.

Making electricity really isn’t that hard so I am told. The technology is now available to convert the sun’s light into electricity using Photovoltaic cells. One company I know has developed large scale photovoltaic plants in Southern Spain, where of course there is plenty of sunshine. Panels made up of photovoltaic cells can be installed on the roof or placed anywhere they will capture the sun. They are then connected to the electrical supply in the home and used to run the everyday appliances we depend on.

What Does Photovoltaic Mean?

Photovoltaic literally means light and electricity and the technology has been developed to convert solar energy into usable power. Basically the sun produces white light, which is just a different kind of energy; as I understand it, photovoltaic cells trap this light and turn the wavelengths into electricity. They do not need bright sunlight to operate so even on cloudy days electricity can be generated due to the reflection of sunlight, and on days of light cloud energy yields are higher than in bright sunshine.

How Photovoltaic Cells Work

To make these cells produce energy you need two layers of semi-conductor material which has been adapted, so that one is positively charged and the other negatively charged. When light shines on the semi-conductor, electrons are released to produce electricity. The greater the intensity of light the more electricity is produced. The electrical field across the junctions between the layers causes electricity to flow as (DC) Direct Current. Photovoltaic cells are then joined together to make panels which are positioned strategically to capture as much sunlight as possible on or around the designated building. Once the photovoltaic cells are joined together they officially become Solar Panels.

Where to Install the Solar Panels

Once you decide to have solar panels then positioning them for optimum light and sunlight is a vital consideration. If you have a good roof space high enough and not shaded by trees, preferably facing south or south west, then you will probably have the ideal location. Because we live a bungalow there is a huge roof facing south on one side. Looking at the design of the roof we concluded we could have several panels facing South East, South and South West thereby capturing sunlight throughout the whole day.

Solar panels can be mounted on frames on a flat roof or the ground or even on the side of buildings. I would think the main criteria are that they are safe and stable so they won’t fall over or blow away in high winds. The solar panel we have for hot water is securely mounted on our roof with strong metal fixings.

Solar panels are produced in many shapes and sizes, some are even made as roof tiles, and there is some new technology on the horizon enabling solar panels to be incorporated into actual windows. Smaller portable solar panels can be taken on holiday when you go camping or caravanning.

The production of solar panels has resulted in a variety of different designs.

Why Would You Want to Install Your Own Solar Power System?

Green Energy - Well firstly there is the issue of ‘going green’ and avoiding using carbon producing energy. There has never been a better time to do your bit to save the planet. Carbon emissions are contributing to the erosion of the glaciers which provide much of the world with drinking water. Global warming is a huge concern and if a large percentage of the world population reduce their carbon footprint then the hope is that global warming will slow to its natural cycle in the evolution of the earth.

Cost - Then there is the cost of electricity today. Utility companies are charging far too much for power and today I read in the paper that one company is not going to reduce the bills now that the price or raw materials has gone down. They plan to use the profits for re-investment! So in fact we are paying twice for the cost of re-investment.

Prices in the UK have trebled in the last year and even with less sunlight in the UK than many other countries solar power is still worthwhile to reduce the bills. During this financial crisis anything that can be done to lessen costs is of benefit. Once your solar system is up and running any excess electricity you produce can be sold back to the national grid. So instead of bills you get paid by the electrical companies for producing more than you can use.

Freedom - When I am showering using the water from my solar heating system, I have this wonderful sense of it being free hot water. I know it is not really free because we have already paid for its installation. But now it is done, it looks after itself and on sunny days there is masses of hot water. It does not need electricity to make the water flow through the pipes so if there is a power cut we can still get hot water.

My strategy over the last few years has been to put in systems that free us from the tyranny of the electricity companies and the oil barons. Without independent systems we have no choices if the powerful companies decide to put up prices or cut us off.

The most persuasive argument for me was when Russia decided to cut off gas supplies to the customers when they had a contract in place so that the people of those countries had no fuel to keep them warm during the coldest winter months. From my perspective is seemed it was all because ‘the powers that be’ wanted to flex their power muscles and increase prices to line their own pockets. None of us want to be in that position.

DIY Solar Panels and Installation

Now that we have a solar hot water heating system installed we are keen to get started on producing our own electricity. We use a great deal of electricity running 5 computers for our home based business and expenses have gone through the roof this year.

The solar panel kit is a key factor in building your own solar power unit and there are a good number of e-books on the market telling you how to do this.

The marketing material on each website is persuasive and they claim that you can make these solar panels for $200 or £150 which is a great deal cheaper than they can be bought readymade. The books provide an easy step by step guide written in clear straightforward language with the complete novice in mind. People claim they are making these panels over a weekend and are overjoyed with the results.

So why would you want to make your own solar panels and then install them yourself? Wind and Solar power systems have been on the market for years but the costs are virtually prohibitive. The cost of commercial panels makes nonsense out of the whole idea of recovering the outlay within a few years. Then there is the satisfaction of producing something necessary to maintain our way of life with your own hands.(Rather like growing your own vegetables)

As well as making these panels for yourself and when you have become more proficient at making them, there is the possibility of a lucrative business producing and installing solar systems starting with your friends and neighbours. Once they start telling their friends about the savings they are making you will find you have more orders than you can handle.

Future for our Children and Grandchildren

The ways we have used and misused our natural resources are creating a legacy for our children and grandchildren which will be, to say the least, challenging. The fossil fuels will run out in the next century and as resources become scarce and population increases there will be competition for what is left. I don’t think the world is going to be an easy place to live in and our descendents will have to adapt to a life that could in many ways, be similar to the Middle Ages in Britain or the early settler days in the US.

I won’t dwell on the possibilities of what could be, but I do think anything we can do to help establish a system using renewable energy will be the best legacy we can bestow on future generations.

A wonderful example of natural resources running out is on Easter Island. From study and research of this uninhabited island it would seem there was once plenty of trees. In fact it was completely covered in forest. The inhabitants cut down these trees as a source of fuel but also for carving images which you can still see on the island. However when the trees became scarce, instead of planting and nurturing their valuable resource, they continued to cut down the trees until there were none left. Because there was no more wood they had used up their means of survival so they all died out or possibly left. To this day it is an uninhabited island with no trees. (In New Zealand there is an oral history of the Maori people canoeing from the pacific islands to find their new land of the long white cloud. They could well have been the ones from Easter Island)

Storing Electricity or Selling Back to the Grid.

Just having solar panels is not sufficient to provide you with electricity for your requirements. Once electricity is produced there has to be a scheme to convey the correct power to the appliances. For the most basic system after the solar panel, you will need a charge controller which regulates the flow of electricity to the battery. A battery is an essential item to maintain the supply when it is dark and an inverter which is essential to convert the direct current (DC) generated by the solar panel to alternating current (AC) for use with all appliances. However by DIY the system could pay for itself within a couple of months.

Once your solar power system is up and running you could decide to just provide electricity for your own use and store any excess in deep cycle batteries. You may however prefer to sell the excess back to the national grid to offset any usage you might need over and above the production of the solar panels installed.

To make a solar panel you can use a solar power kit providing you with detailed instructions of all the items needed to start generating electricity from the sun.

Apparently there are ways of getting deep storage batteries for free in which to store electricity that you have produced, over and above your current consumption. A charge controller is advisable to monitor and control the charging of the battery and prevent it being overcharged. Careful use of the battery will extend its life and save having to swap it so often.

Selling electricity back to the national grid will require installation of several more items than the basic system uses and is a little more complicated to install. But if it offsets the cost of the electricity you do need, it might be a better system ultimately.

Will it work in the UK?

Although sunlight hours are fewer in the UK than in other more sunny climates photovoltaic cells work with light, and as mentioned earlier, they work particularly well on partially cloudy days of which there are many. We already have several solar units in the garden and I have never known them to not have enough light to work, even in winter.

Will we run out of Raw Materials?

The semi-conductor material used in the construction of the solar cells is mostly silicon. Silicon is basically derived from sand and sand is the second most abundant material in the Earth’s mass. So I think it is unlikely we shall run out of raw materials.

Conclusion

Hot water powered by the sun has been in use for many years in countries where there is a plentiful supply of sun and is known as passive energy. However the development of new technology whereby light can be converted to electricity is a important step in the evolution of civilisation.

What I don’t understand is why Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia and Bahrain don’t make more use of this technology as their location is ideally suited to solar production. Now that oil supplies are dwindling maybe they will turn their attention to other forms of electricity production and use their vast wealth to invest further in the solar and wind technology. They could even be the ones who ultimately end up dominating the industry. I did read that there are plans to turn parts of the Sahara into solar power farms, and that the plan is to export a fair amount of the power produced, into Europe. This could be an excellent export opportunity for Africa.

To be completely free of electricity from the grid would be a huge bonus for me and there seems to be a small revolution going on with a ground swell of public opinion demanding the use of renewable sources to produce energy. People are getting fed up with being hostage to energy companies and are looking for ways to challenge the system.

It is a fact that solar power is one of the safest, easiest and cheapest ways to create electricity for our homes. In an ever increasingly energy hungry planet, currently only 0.2% of energy comes from renewable sources and 93% comes from sources that will eventually run out. So now is the time to look for an alternative in the form of wind and solar energy to provide a very moral and ethical gift for the generations after us.

Uncomplicated and Trouble-Free Exercises for Abdominals That Are Great

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 | Always Online | Comments Off

It is generally not advisable to make use of quick-fix exercises as a substitute for hard strenuous work. May it be in becoming more fit or putting on those muscles, nothing compares to good old hard work. However, presented below are a few exercises for abs that are not only effective, but can also easily be done from the comfort of one’s home. However, be warned that although performing the following workouts on a regular basis will definitely help improve the abdominal muscles, it is unlikely that they alone will provide one’s desired results. It is still necessary to combines these exercises with regular cardio sessions and a healthy diet.

Crunches

One of the most popular exercises for abs has to be the crunches. This workout has been tried and tested and most fitness gurus will agree that it is also one of the most effective. Search for the term “exercises for abs” before beginning a workout regime.

For the crunch exercise, one will need to lie on his back while the heels are firmly placed on the floor. After a deep breath, one would need to suck in his stomach and then lift his upper body until the head is about level with the knees - or the back at a 45-degree angle against the floor. However, the eyes should remain focused on the ceiling while ensuring that the hands do not pull on the neck. This position should be held for around 3 seconds before returning to the starting position.

Standing Side Bends

As the name implies, this is one of many exercises for abs that will require the individual to stand flat on his feet. While keeping the arms at the sides and the legs straight, one should make a left-to-right movement. The upper body must remain in a forward-facing stance while the hips should be kept firmly in place, avoiding any type of rotation. It may be a good idea to read workout magazines and look for “ab exercises” in order to get a head start. The exercise targets the oblique muscles by continuously tilting the body from left to right while also engaging the whole abdominal wall as well as some muscles in the lower back.

Torso Twists

One of the easiest abs exercises to perform is the torso twist. Much like the side bends, torso twists will also require the individual to be in a standing position. However, instead of tilting the body from one side to another, this exercise requires the individual to rotate the upper body from left to right, and then vice versa. This should be done with the stomach sucked in and the legs kept straight. This exercise specifically targets both the external and internal oblique muscles.

Cheaper Airport Parking in the UK

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 | Always Online | Comments Off

For the last few years parking on the airport in the UK has risen, especially if using Heathrow. Airport Parking is always cheaper if Pre-booked

Even if you pre-book the cost of an airport car park can be 50% more than an off airport car park and if you just turn up at the gate this can be double. For the working man short of time parking on the airport is the most preferred, however, with following the credit crunch all companies need to look at expenses and off airport parking can lead to a considerable saving for a company who have numerous employees travelling abroad on an annual basis. If car parking is for two weeks, this will normally require a 15 day stay or due to timings 16 days. The cost of parking needs to be taken into account when planning holiday and time needs to be taken to look at every option available. Book your parking as early as possible

The most important factor is to deal with well established companies if booking off airport and to book your airport parking at your earliest opportunity. At each airport you will be able to select from numerous off airport car parking premises and you need to bear the following points in mind when making your selection.

How many years has the car park been trading? How far is the car park from the airport? How long does the transfer to the terminal take? Is the car park approved by the Park Mark Safer Parking Scheme which is monitored by the Police Officers association who visit car parks on an annual basis and check fencing, cctv, lighting and manned security coverage.

We recommend you book parking at Gatwick airport, parking at Heathrow and Manchester airport parking online to guarantee the widest choice available and to secure a place especially during the high season and bank holidays.

What is CD Duplication

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009 | Always Online | Comments Off

You may have heard people chat about CD duplication. Most people think that it just means copying a DVD. However, it’s the technically duplication of optical media - generally the production of a small number of DVDs from existing CD Disc onto recordable DVD+R Disc. This is common among musicians, software companies, and other groups that need to have a number of copies of their discs made.

If you’re a business that needs to have CD copied, or just have a personal project involving DVD duplication, you don’t have to do it yourself. Companies exist to do this job for you. When you go looking for a service to help you, chances are that you’ll be asked what sort of disc you’ll need. Not all DVDs are the same, after all. The DVDs used in small orders are different from those used in larger duplication batches.

Unlike tape duplication, copying DVDs doesn’t cause the quality of the copies to degrade. Since DVDs simply store data, and there’s no damage to that data in transfer, there’s actually very little difference between the original and the copy. It’s more like moving files on your computer than copying a tape. However, DVD duplication can’t make the copy any better than the original data you provide. There are some mistakes that can be made, which can hurt the quality of your copied DVDs. The best way to avoid these is to make sure you’re working with a quality DVD duplication company. Beware of offers that seem too cheap to be real. Chances are, shortcuts are being taken, which can hurt your end product.

If you need to produce copies of a music or multimedia disc, marketing and business materials, or just a personal project, DVD duplication could be helpful. However, whether or not you’ll need to pay an outside company for this service depends on the quantity of discs you want. If you require only a few, you can do the job yourself, using a quality DVD burner. If you’ll need more than that, paying for DVD duplication by a professional takes the hassle out of your hands.

Talk to the representative of any DVD duplicator company you’re thinking of working with to decide what options will produce the best quality DVDs for your project in the most efficient way. That way, you’ll be able to balance concerns about cost with those about quality, and get the best DVDs for your needs.

The Process of Web Design

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009 | Always Online | Comments Off

Introduction

The term ‘Web Design’ creates a lot of confusion and misunderstanding. The word design suggests graphics and layout so many people think that’s what designing a website is all about. Most people think that website design is very simple, all you need to do is install the company logo, add the relevant wording, decide on the arrangement of the pages and that’s it.

Well I am about to amaze you by outlining the many complicated processes involved in web design. Think of it this way; when an architect designs a house all we see is the way he lays out the rooms, how the available space is arranged. We normally do not concern ourselves with the amount of technical detail that goes into the design. The architect has to work out the stresses on the walls and the weight of the roof. If there are fireplaces he has to know about draughts and the shape of chimney for it to do the job. He has to plan heating systems, plumbing systems, drainage and sewage, what type of windows to use, door fittings and many other details so that when it’s finally complete the overall effect is pleasing and suitable for the purpose intended. Web design is similar. A customer may have an idea of the layout of the website but will need the services of the Web Designer to make it all happen.

Stages in the Process

There are many items to be decided on before even starting to build a website. Some of the important questions to consider are:

  • Who will be the target audience?
  •

  • What is to be the purpose of the website?
  •

  • Do you want it to be found by the search engines?
  •

  • What is the domain name for the site?
  •

  • What links need to be in place?
  •

  • What type of graphics do you want to use?
  •

  • Do you want to include photographs?
  •

  • Do you want a system of monitoring visitors to the website?
  •

Once the webmaster has the answers to these questions then she can start the process of designing the site to give you what you want.

    Target Audience

What sort of people are going to use the new website? Are your customers likely to be businesses, sales people, home owners, parents, teenagers or children and so on?

    Objectives of the Website

Is the website to be used to sell products on line, or to market your business to get leads for new customers? Maybe you wanted it to be an online brochure to showcase your services. Balloons for trade have a website for resellers only so that they can look up the products before placing an order. Because there is no selling on line there are no contact details on the site. You may want to use the website to foster a community to be in contact with other likeminded people. You would need a design that incorporates a chat rooms and online discussions.

    Being found on the Web

The first step is a search of key words in the industry. Finding the best keywords is vital if you want to be in the top ten listed in Google. Every SEO or web designer will tell you this and it really is very very important. By using a keyword research tool you can find the single most popular (trophy) keyword; the one everyone puts in. For example people looking for a vacuum cleaner might type in Hoover although this is in fact a brand name. You will also need to research buying keywords, geographical variants and long tail keywords, these are keywords that are much more likely to convert into a sale but have lower search volumes, you can find out more information about these types of keywords by performing a web search.

    Domain Names

Domain names can be the hardest part of setting up your website, because nearly every name you come up with will most certainly have been registered already. By far the most popular are domain names ending in .com as they are internationally recognised. For that reason alone the majority of shorter names will already have been registered.
Choosing names with endings such as .net; .co.uk .org .info may provide you with the domain name of your preference. When choosing your domain name it is a good idea to include one or more of your keywords. Although the name of your business may be the obvious choice for a Domain Name, it is not necessarily the only option.

So as you can see choosing domain names and keywords right at the beginning of the project will determine how the site is constructed so that it is suitable for the purpose required.

A brand new domain name space has just been launched.

Companies can now register their name in this brand new .tel name space and it is intended to replace the telephone directory. When the domain name is viewed in your web browser it will provide the companies details and telephone number.

    Creating a Site Map

It is very important to have a site map to outline the pages on your website, e-commerce website or forum space. It shows the design and flow through the website so that when selling on line, items work in order such as; adding product to basket, entering delivery and billing address and on to making credit card payment. The site map helps to identify how user friendly the website is so that there are no difficulties in getting onto the site. Often the user name and password are set for the customer so there is no hindrance to achieving the initial purchase.

Non e-commerce sites are easier because it is possible to receive enquiries by email, without publishing the email address on the website. By using a contact form you will avoid junk mail and also validate the information before you receive it. The aim is to create a balance between discouraging junk mail, and making it easy for the enquirer to use the site.

    Links

An important consideration when designing a website are links. These can be links to other pages of content within your website, and links within the content of your website in the text, as well as links from the menu. Consideration has to be given to whether the links will open in a separate window so you still have your original page open or will the new window replace the previous one.

    The Copy

The copy is the words and visuals you want on your website. Having made decisions about the target market and relevant links, along with the keywords and using the site map information, the next step is to decide what imagery you want displayed. A picture speaks a thousand words and remains in people’s memory far longer than just words. So images are important to reach your audience. Each image needs a caption which is the ‘most read’ words on the page after the title. The caption of an image need to be clickable so that when you click on a picture it takes you to the next stage of the sales process.

    Design

The final design of the website is often the most difficult stage of the process because it’s subjective. In a large corporation, many people from various departments will have an input for their division. Everyone has their own ideas of what they think the site should look like and trying to gain a consensus can be a nightmare because nobody will ever agree.

If you are setting up a web design project just for yourself then you will probably have a clear idea of what you want to see on the site. But even then unless your ideas are workable in the medium, you may have difficulty getting something you like.

Good ecommerce web design doesn’t happen by accident, there needs to be a lot of careful planning of the specific stages in the buying process, and removing as many of the barriers to buying as possible.

Look at competitor’s websites in mind of your ideas to make sure your design will be an improvement on what is already in the market place.

Once you have done that you will need to create a design brief. The design brief should have a reference to the logo and any existing brand guidelines, colour schemes and fonts adding in any other relevant material.

Having done a design brief look for a suitable graphic designer. Choose your designer carefully, finding one who designs specifically for screen and the web to achieve the very best results. Beware of choosing a graphic designer who designs for different discipline such as print as they are very different processes. Look at other works the designer has done and decide whether or not you like their style.

Using several graphic designers is the best option if you are working in the big time and budget allows. Give each designer the same brief and request three concept designs from each one. The client might also do a design, even if it’s a scribble on the back of an envelope, there will then be ten concept designs. Get everyone together and choose the preferred elements from each design. Once the items you want are selected choose one graphic designer to do the final artwork.

All parties need to agree on the final artwork before building of the site begins. Consideration should be give to the fonts used for the titles and buttons etc. Fonts have to be licensed so if the designer has not supplied something then the developer will need a copy of the fonts to achieve the task. Professional graphic designers will usually provide the artworks in a layered Photoshop file so if titles are not going to be in plain text get the designer to also supply the fonts.

    Production

At last all the preparation has been done and the site is ready to go into production. This is where it gets technical! You may not want to go into the detail in which case leave it to your Web Master to choose for you. There have to be decisions about what language to use, either Unix or Windows based, to build the website. Each have advantages and disadvantages with multiple variants but sites such as Ebay, Facebook, Google as well as other well known websites are built on Unix. Your website has to be built with the development language of your web host provider so that they are compatible.

    Accessiblity and Compliance

These are current standards for website development to insure that disabled users, such as the visually impaired, can still access all sections of the website.

    Development

Development of the website is best done on the web server where the site will reside. Those involved in reviewing the work can then monitor work in progress and provide comments throughout the development.

    Unforeseen Items

As the site building gets under way the customer suddenly thinks of something they must have. No matter how well the web master prepares and asks the client the right questions, there are always some last minute adjustments to the programme. The main aim is to minimise last minute additions because they aren’t calculated in and will generate extra costs and cause delays to the date of the website going live.

    Going live

At last your site is up and running and you see the results of all the preparation that has gone into the whole process. There is no substitute for real world testing so as soon as the site is live ask your friends and colleagues to view the website from their own computers and give comments.

    Marketing

Once the site is up and running it’s time to turn your attention to marketing your products by submitting the site to the search engines, writing articles, and press releases and generating links from forums, blogs and other social networking spaces.

    Reporting and Monitoring

Skilled web design companies won’t have a problem installing your webstats for you , although some of the advanced tracking can be a bit tricky to setup at first, such as tracking PDF or MP3 downloads, but it is all possible and will inform you about your website users activites.

Use a reliable statistics package such as Google Analytics or Web-Stat.com to collect and review website visitor data. All you will need is a small block of code inserted into each web page on your site to collect visitor information to help you assess the success of your products in near real time. Web-stat.com also monitors the website and alerts you by email and text message if the site goes down.

    Conclusion

The title ‘Web Design’ is a bit misleading in that people often assume it means the graphic design on the home page and the branding of the product. Unless you are a computer expert, most people do not realise the amount of work that goes into designing and building of a website. Clients are not aware of the amount of complicated technical work necessary to build the systems that support what they want the website to do. In such a complex process anything that gets tacked on at the end will end up incurring more cost to your budget.

The depth of initial questioning is an indicator of how competent your Web Master will be. Every aspect of the construction has to be decided upon before you even start the design. These things may sound very technical to us non techies but it is essential for the Web Master to find out exactly what is required so that everything can be costed accurately and built into the design from the beginning.

    What Is The .UIF Extension

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009 | Always Online | Comments Off

If you stumble across a .UIF file, then you should know that the extension refer to Universal Image Format. This is indeed a compressed disk image, representing faithfully the information found either on a compact disc or on a DVD. Online, not only can you find extensive details on the UIF disk image but you can also discover utilities that allow you to convert UIF to ISO. You are probably familiar with both file extensions, being aware that the .UIF format is often preferred when creating backup disc images. There are differences between these two formats, starting with the fact that the .UIF file is more compressed than the .ISO. You will have to discover the others, one by one.

The first and most important thing that you should know about the UIF extension is that it comes with a series of advanced features when compared with ISO. The compression level is more advanced as well, the UIF file also offering the possibility of encryption and protection through password. Thus, you can be absolutely certain that the security of your document will be respected at all times. Last, but not least, one of the most interesting features of the .UIF file image is related to multi-session disks. The user can trust the UIF file to backup such discs within one single file, which is, as you can certainly understand, extremely advantageous.

.UIF files are generally opened with specialized programs, such as MagicISO. This program can also be used to extract the files that have this format, and most people prefer to use the free trial as opposed to the full version which is quite expensive. MagicISO is a professional application and it also allows one to convert .UIF to ISO without any effort whatsoever. Why should you be interested in converting UIF to .ISO? Because ISO is a much popular format and one that is supported by multiple tools, and not just MagicISO. However, if you decide to use the free trial, you should know that the conversion is only applicable to disk images that have less than 300 Mb. For the disk images that are over this dimension, you will have to buy the full version and search for another program to convert .UIF to ISO.

For beginners and those who do not have so much experience in working with computers, dedicated Web users have posted step by step instructions on how to convert UIF to ISO. They take one from the initial stage where the .UIF file is opened to the final conversion process, explaining every step of the way in detail. By following the guide, it’s practically impossible not to succeed in converting the file into the desired format. One will also be instructed on how to burn .UIF files, which is, as you will probably notice, just as simple as converting these files into ISO format.

If you are interested in burning UIF files and you haven’t the slightest idea on how to do it, then you can trust the Web and its specialized resources to help you in this matter as well. Use the same software program that you used for conversion – MagicISO – and burn your CD or DVD in a matter of minutes. You just have to select the .UIF file and click on the mouse to burn it.
