We went there with $1000 in cash and strict principles not to over spend. We were ridiculous and took a bunch of small change bills when we could have taken mostly $100 dollar bills and just used the alter machines to break them into smaller units. Oh well, we’ll know for next time.
We did play a great deal of games, but held firm to our rule. We won some and lost some, and got two nights of our hotel room comped for our play. To take advantage of this we knew to invest as much cash as we could in exactly the same hotel chain. So anything we ate at New York New York counted a similar as if we ate at our own hotel. By sticking to a similar chain most from the time we were able to rack up a whole lot of points and get a great comp.
