I’m Ready For A Spot To Enjoy The Sun Plus Some Vacation Time

Every now and then I get the urge to take off for a hot destination near the beach, where I can read and swim and just take it easy. In this economy, most of us are being a lot more careful about how we spend our money. Admittedly flying to exotic resorts may not be in our budgets this year. However, if we can carve out some vacation money, I can suggest a few vacations where you will find warm weather, water and have at least some chance of trimming the budget.
The first place that comes to mind is good old Southern California. You will find mile after mile of beautiful beaches, and places to stay not far from the water. Check out the SoCal Vacation Guru for details on many beach communities and beach-oriented activities. I think you’ll find many tips and good advice that you won’t find anywhere else on the internet.
With some time on the internet you’ll be able to obtain substantial opportunities to save money at quite a number of vacation destinations and Orange County beaches. If you’d like to go further south, you might want to look to Cancun in Mexico.
Specifically, you can find many nice hotel deals online, and this resort city on the Yucatan Peninsula has a lot to offer summer travel visitors. Look into staying in the Hotel Zone, along a peninsula where resorts offer beautiful beaches. The weather can actually be too hot in the middle of summer.
If you do wish to visit Central America, Cancun is just one of many great resort areas. Other examples include Cozumel and Jamaica. But research carefully your intended destination, not only to ensure a safe and trouble-free trip but also to learn about the area (culture, history, interesting attractions, etc.) to make the trip more fun. I’m not sure how we made it before Google came along, but now it is possible to obtain an amazing amount of research information before you embark on your warm-weather vacation.
